Bodywork LV Sport - Studio 222 location possibly delayed
Spoke with James at Studio 222 who is handling the Clark County licensing paperwork of getting a massage business license in place for Studio 222. It appears slightly held up by the request for more paperwork. This isn’t unusual for establishing a massage business in Las Vegas. The process requires metro background checks, extensive paperwork that includes nearly everything you can think of and some things you have not thought of about your background. Massage Therapists now have to undergo this process at the state level, saving them the time and energy having to apply for each licensing jurisdiction. This was a recent change in the last 2 years and it’s great. However, for any business that wishes to include massage as part of their service, like Studio 222 (a personal training facility), the process is still quite extensive and involved, taking anywhere from 3-4 months or more. We are still playing the waiting game, but look forward to finally getting this location up and running.
